QOwnNotes(Text Editors)
[b]QOwnNotes[/b] is the notepad for [b]Linux[/b], [b]Mac OS X[/b] and [b]Windows[/b] (it's written in C++/Qt), that works together with the notes application of ownCloud. [li]You [b]own[/b] your own notes! All notes are stored as [b]text files[/b] on your desktop computer.[/li] [li][b]Share[/b] them over devices (desktop & mobile)[/li] [li]Use [b]ownCloud Notes[/b] to edit your notes in the [b]web[/b][/li] So you are able to [b]write down[/b] your thoughts with QOwnNotes and [b]edit or search[/b] for them later from your [b]mobile device[/b] (like with CloudNotes) or the [b]ownCloud web-service[/b]. Youll find binaries on the project webpage: [url]http://www.qownnotes.org/[/url] The notes are stored as plain text files and are synced with ownClouds file sync functionality. I like the concept of having notes accessible in plain text files, like it is done in the ownCloud notes app, but I was not able to find a decent desktop note taking tool or a text editor, that handles them well.
